Welcome to the slightly less exciting section of the website. Even though it may not get your blood pumping, it is very important that I share with you the following information and ensure there is an agreement between us about the photographs that will be produced and how I will store and use any data that I collect.

First of all, thank you so much for visiting my website and showing interest in booking a photoshoot with me. I love getting to know families and couples and producing images for you that show your unique relationships and personalities. I also love editing the photos and spend hours making sure they are just right. Ultimately, I want you to have photos that will help you to treasure the memories because life, after all, is about making memories.

Copyright

It is  understood that the photographer, Anna McGrath, owns and retains the copyright to all images produced. Upon receipt of the final payment and delivery of images, the client is granted a licence to use the digital images for their own non-commercial purposes such as printing, electronic messaging, exchanging with friends and relatives and displaying on the internet. However, the images may not be altered or edited in any way.

Capture, Delivery, Post Production and Editing

The photographer is not liable to deliver every image taken at the session. The determination of the images delivered to the client is left to the discretion of the photographer. The final post-production and editing styles, effects and the overall look of the images are based on the photographer's personal style and the available lighting.

Digital Files

​

Images from family photoshoots and weddings will be sent to clients digitally in an online album.  Upon receipt of the digital photos, the client accepts all responsibility for archiving and protecting the photographs. Digital images will be provided in JPG format. I will retain digital files of your photographs for 7 years (subject to any unexpected loss of data).

Data Collection and Use

I will collect from you the following information:

• Your surname and the first names of family members involved in the family shoot

• Your home address for couples who are getting married and for families having photoshoots in their home

• Your email address for communication and to send links to galleries

• Photographs that identify you, your family members and other participants

Your names will be kept in my mobile phone address book and files of your photographs will be on a hard drive and labelled with your family name. Images posted on social media will not have a full name written alongside them.

Email addresses, home addresses and phone numbers will be used for the sole purpose of sending you images and to make any contact which is necessary in order for me to respond to, or implement, any requests.

I will not pass your details on to any third parties.

​

The photographs will be stored on a hard drive  for 3 years and you can request images to be re-sent at any point in those 3 years should you wish.

​

I will be using images on my website, Facebook and Instagram pages for the purposes of marketing and work sharing. If, for any reason, you cannot allow me to share the images in this way, you can opt out in writing.
