Want a wedding in Hastings that feels like an elopement?
I love tiny weddings, whether it is just you and a handful of loved ones or just you and your partner doing it alone. I eloped in 2023 and got married in City Hall in Brooklyn. It was intimate, it was meaningful, we didn't have to worry about anyone else. We hired a photographer who also acted as our witness, we took the subway there, we showed our passports and signed some paperwork, we took a ticket number and sat in the waiting room until we were called in, we said our vows in an oval room and then we walked through Brooklyn with the photographer having photos taken. We then walked down to a rooftop bar and had a few drinks before heading to a restaurant to celebrate together. It was perfect and the photos are so cool.
I want to be able to create similar photos and a similar experience for couples in and around Hastings - it is the perfect place for it.

1. Part of the day involves a ceremony at Hastings Register Office (or Rye's)
2. Part of the day involves a small church service.
3. Part of the day involves a ceremony with a registrar and celebrant at a venue licensed for civil ceremonies.
4. You do the legal part before the day and hire a celebrant to lead a non-legal ceremony in a place of your choice
